Shipping Information
All orders are shipped from Edinburgh, Scotland and are usually dispatched within 48 hours of payment being received.
UK orders typically arrive within 2 working days of dispatch. Delivery times for international orders vary by destination.
You will always see the shipping cost for your order at checkout.
United Kingdom
Shipping and packaging within the UK is charged at a flat rate of £8.80.
Orders are sent using either DHL Express Tracked or Royal Mail Tracked 24. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking information and an estimated delivery date.
International Customers
British VAT (Value Added Tax) of 20% is removed from all international orders automatically. Please note that local duties, taxes and import charges are not included in our shipping rates and may be payable when your order arrives in your country.
United States
Shipping to the United States is charged at a flat rate of £60. Orders are typically sent using DHL Express and usually arrive within 3–10 working days.
For smaller and lighter items, alternative shipping options may be available at a lower cost. Please contact us at hello@elleihome.com, and we will be happy to explore the best shipping option for you.
Duties and Taxes for US Shipments
British VAT (Value Added Tax) of 20% is removed from all US orders.
Please note that local duties, taxes and import charges are not included in our shipping rates and may be payable when your order arrives in the United States.
From 28 August 2025, the US government removed the $800 de minimis threshold, meaning commercial shipments may be subject to duties and taxes regardless of value.

Europe
Shipping costs to Europe vary depending on destination and parcel weight. The exact shipping cost will always be shown at checkout.
Orders to Europe typically arrive within 3–10 working days.

Rest of the World
We can generally ship anywhere in the world.

Returns due to Import Fees:
Our shipping charges do not include any duties, taxes or other import fees that may be applied by your country. Any such charges are the responsibility of the customer.
If local duties and taxes are refused and the goods are returned to Ellei Home, we reserve the right to deduct a restocking fee of up to 15% of the order value to cover third-party return costs. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
