Handwoven Cotton Throw with Stripes in White

Handwoven in Guatemala, these beautiful cotton throws are crafted entirely on traditional backstrap looms. Because the loom produces only narrow panels, each throw is made from multiple handwoven lengths that are carefully stitched together—a construction technique that has become a hallmark of the design. What begins as a practical constraint results in a distinctive aesthetic: decorative joining stitches that create subtle linear patterns across the textile.

Each woven strip features a refined border of orange, burgundy, and white, while the panels are joined with yellow, burgundy, and white thread, forming delicate golden-toned stripes against the white cotton ground. Made from 100% handwoven cotton and entirely crafted by artisans in Guatemala, every throw reflects hours of meticulous craftsmanship and carries the character and quality unique to handmade work.
