Vintage Oil on Canvas Portrait of 'Lady F'

A painting depicting a seated woman in three-quarter profile, wearing a purple headscarf and a light blue blouse. What is particularly charming about this artwork is that it does not idealise the sitter; her features are observed honestly rather than through flattery, imbuing her portrayal with the depth she deserves. Rather than telling a story, the painting presents a mood and a state of being: the sitter feels grounded, reflective, and inwardly focused.

This painting has been part of my collection for years. Named "Lady F", she has brightened countless photographs, adding colour and life to my images.
